Since March 2005 the city of Alkmaar has a new, magnificent 4-star hotel: the Best Western Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar. It has 84 standard deluxe rooms, 4 junior suites and a bridal suite. All rooms are very tastefully decorated and offer every comfort. The Amrâth Hotel Alkmaar is centrally located, near the historic city centre and the tourist attractions, such as De Waag, the cheese market, the cathedral, and near theatre De Vest and the Centraal Museum. The hotel has a cosy bar and limited parking facilities (not free of charge).
