Description
The hospitable Hotel Op Diek on the island Texel offers contemporary convenience in an informal island atmosphere. In these peaceful surroundings you can relax completely. The garden lies under the lee of the trees on the south side of the premises; you overlook it when you sunbathe on the terrace. The garden is surrounded by pastures with the famous Texel sheep.
After an active day on the beach or your bicycle, it's delightful to relax in the wholesome heat of the sauna. You can appear at the dinner table completely refreshed and rested.
Aside from the standard facilities, each room has a modern bathroom with bath or shower and a seating area.
Food and drinks
In the restaurant you can choose between various delicious menus. Please indicate in advance if you are a vegetarian or if you follow a certain diet, then the chef will reckon with it.
The bar is open the whole day to have a drink, but obviously to have a cup of coffee or tea as well.

Each room has a free broad band Internet connection.
Accessibility
The ferry to Texel departs from the harbour of Den Helder. You don't need to make reservations. The ferry carries cars as well.
Upon arrival on the island you go straight at the traffic lights and after 2.5 kilometres you turn left onto the Amaliaweg. At the end of this road turn left onto the Hoornderweg and keep going until you arrive in Den Hoorn. Then turn left again onto the Diek and you’ll find the hotel on your left hand side.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. If you would like to check in after 18:00 h., you need to contact the reception in advance.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Luggage can be stored at the hotel.
