Golden Tulip Midden-Drenthe is located in a woody environment on the edge of the village Westerbork in the green middle of the province of Drenthe. You'll find many bicycle- and walking routes (mostly signposted). With a network of 1500kms of bicycle paths, Drenthe is known to be the bicycle province. In the direct vecinity of the hotel there are many places worth seeing like for instance the museum village Orvelte, the "hunebeds" (megalithic tombs) and playcity "Oranje". Also worth visiting are the Northern Animal Zoo in Emmen, the Drenthe Museum in Assen or one of the other cities in the north for shopping.
