The city of Delden is certainly worth visiting. The filled-in canals and the ruined city walls give away Delden's medieval origin. Delden has many attractions: a watermill (de Noordmolen), a woodcutting mill (Twickel), Twickel's castle gardens, the Saltmuseum (Zoutmuseum), museumfarm Wendezoele and and old church (NH kerk Oude Blasius).

Hotel Het Wapen van Delden is a 3-star Hotel just in the outskirts of Delden. The Hotel has 50 comfortable rooms. The swimming pool (30gr. C) is free of use.
Delden is a historicale little town with his famous Castle Twickel. In the woods of Twickel is perfect to have a nice cicle-tour or have a little walk in the gardens of the Castle. The Hotel is member of the Holland Hotels group.
It is a 20 minute walk from train station Delden to the hotel. You can take a special train taxi from trainstation Hengelo as well.
