De Woudzoom is situated next to the National Park "Dwingelderveld" at Dwingeloo in the old village Spier. It's a fantastic starting point for bicycle- and walking trips. Maps and bicycles can be obtained at the hotel. There is a bicycle shed as well. After your bicycle or walking trip you can use the sauna and turkish steambath (at a small charge)!
