Hotel De Lange Jammer is situated on the former artificial working island of Lelystad. At the time that Lelystad was built on a new polder, the labourers lived here. Before this, this whole area was part of the large lake 'IJsselmeer' and before that it was the sea 'Zuiderzee'. The former restaurant of the platform was rebuild into a location with 17 hotel rooms. All rooms are equipped with a television, free Internet, fridge, telephone, bathroom with shower or bath.
