The entertainment centre around the Gevers Deynootplein, the casino, large cinema, Circustheater and Thermen Vitalizee spa are within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The Nederlands Congres Centrum (which has changed its name to World Forum Convention Center) is only 20 minutes by car, bus or tram.
BY CAR: From Amsterdam (Schiphol) follow the A4 direction Den Haag (A12 or N14), from Rotterdam follow the A16 direction Den Haag, and from Utrecht follow the A12 direction Den Haag. Turn right direction Scheveningen/Wassenaar at the traffic lights at the end of this road. Turn left at the next traffic lights. At the end of this street (about 4 km) go straight into a one-way traffic street; the Strandhotel is on the corner.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From the Central Station Den Haag: take tram 9 or bus 22 direction Scheveningen. Get off at the last stop (Zwarte Pad). From Den Haag Station Hollands Spoor: take tram 1 or 9 direction Scheveningen. Get off at the last stop (Zwarte Pad). Walk towards the sea and you will see the Strandhotel on the corner.

Strandhotel Scheveningen is a small family hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The hotel is located directly on the (northern) boulevard. The attractive entrance (Zeekant 111) with fireplace and the beautiful old lounge are decorated in Victorian style. Breakfast is served in the cosy dining room with view over the sea. From 1 November to 1 March 2006 you can park free of charge at the Zwarte pad, this is a 3-minute walk from the hotel.
