The hotel is situated on the edge of the town centre and opposite the Valkhof Museum and Park. In the immediate vicinity there are plenty possibilities for hiking or cycling, e.g.: the hills of Berg en Dal, the pitoresque fruit cultivation area 'De Betuwe' between the two main rivers of the Netherlands the Rijn and the Waal, the German Reichswald, and several other natural reserves. Nijmegen itself has a lot of interesting visiting points as well; museums, the casino, shopping malls, sauna's, indoor ice skating court, golf. Being the oldest city in Holland, the old town is worth visiting and there are a lot of archeological sites.

The City Park Hotel/Restaurant Oporto has been recently renovated entirely. The hotel offers three-star facilities (but no elevator) while maintaining the atmosphere of a family hotel. All rooms are selfcontained with shower or bath, toilet, television and telephone. A breakfast buffet is served each morning on weekdays from 7am till 10am; on Saturdays and Sundays from 8am till 11am. Restaurant Oporto serves à la carte dinners every day and lunches during the weekends. The Portugese-mediterranean menu garantees a culinary experience in a warm atmosphere.
Additional information
- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 23:30 h. Guests who wish to check in at a later time need to contact the reception in advance.
- Pets are allowed.
- Luggage can be stored at the hotel.

Children: One child up to 12 years old can stay in the parents' room. A baby bed or additional bed is available on request. A baby bed can be provided for free; an additional bed is €15 a night.
